The Durban Club is situated on Durban’s famous Victoria Embankment, adjacent to the old central business district, with glorious views of Durban Bay. Rich in Edwardian architectural detail, characteristic of the early 1900’s, it is one of the city’s most stately and attractive buildings.

Durban Bay, gives members an opportunity to relax and enjoy the beauty and fascination of a busy harbour.
The atmosphere of the Club is elegant yet relaxed, sophisticated yet friendly, and it is viewed as a home-from-home by many of its members. The Club has reciprocity with over 109 Clubs world-wide, and it welcomes their members to use the facilities offered.

The Club, with its gracious atmosphere, and over 160 years of tradition is an outstanding wedding venue. The magnificent Mountbatten Room, overlooking the harbour, seats up to 100 guests, and the adjoining Library Room is available for dancing.
THE CLUB BAR
The warm and welcoming Club Bar overlooks the harbour and is located next to the Mountbatten Room restaurant. The bar is always a popular meeting place before, during and after functions.
The three Club function rooms, furnished in gracious Edwardian style, are perfect for small functions, seminars and conferences. The Club provides a screen, projector and sound system on request and meals and/or refreshments are serverd as ordered.
